The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential. This is a Monday-Friday 8-3:30 pm position with training, benefits, and a base + commission structure. Responsibilities:
- Research markets for key opportunities that could benefit from the products and services Access provides.
- Utilize strong selling and influencing skills to generate qualified appointments for Access sales team.
- Assist with targeted marketing campaigns such as email blasts and direct mail flyers.
- Organize prospecting days in both new and established markets.
- Test different strategies for setting appointments and report on success rate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong in-person, phone, and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel between Access branches (mostly day trips).
- Prior B2B sales or telemarketing experience a plus.
- Proficiency using MS Office, e.g., PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage.
