Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire recruitment  process while partnering with HR, Hiring Managers, Partners and management to plan and implement cost effective sourcing strategies that deliver top calibre talent to the region
  • Proactively source candidates through multiple strategies including ATS, social media, job boards, presentations, networking, referrals, professional websites and industry events etc. 
  • Initiates meetings and work closely with Business Unit Leader to develop job descriptions in line with organisational frameworks, and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at generating qualified candidates to meet organisational goals as well as developing a strong pipeline of passive candidates for future positions
  • Implement effective recruiting plans including recruiting initiatives focused on  best practices
  • Recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers based on market knowledge and talent strategies
  • Schedule interviews, including travel, hiring calendar and confirmations and all approvals necessary in the recruitment process
  • Provides leadership and thought partnership to hiring manager, partners and staff by acting as a resourcing consultant
  • Responsible for embedding process, tools and systems within the region in order to improve the hiring process (i.e. requisitions, approvals, offers)
  • Design, capture and interpret metrics to measure, communicate and compare performance.
  • Provides ongoing feedback to leadership & management on recruitment trends and developments that keeps all informed and promotes realistic expectations
  • Manage College and Intern annual hiring by partnering with HR team on college and internship recruitment programs
  • Attend college campus recruitment events, networking events and informational sessions at targeted schools
  • Update and maintain social media recruitment branding in line with new Marketing and branding directives
  • Ensure transition between recruitment and onboarding is smooth
  • Update all recruitment reports on a daily/weekly basis and maintain data accuracy at all times and in line with local & global company requirements.
  • Facilitate weekly HR recruitment ops meetings
  • Support compensation reviews and practices
  • Facilitates external relocation in partnership with appropriate HR Consultants
  • Facilitates internal global mobility in partnership with appropriate HR Consultants in both home & host locations

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of high-volume engineering sector specific recruitment
  • Three (3+ )years in building services engineering recruitment
  • Discern core competencies in relation to the position requirements in order to evaluate and refer the best of the best to the hiring manager
  • Certified in behavioral interviewing a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – confidence interacting and communicating with all experience levels of engineering talent
  • Ability to influence and develop relationships effectively to deliver best practice and company initiatives
  • Must have experience designing, capturing and interpreting metrics to measure, communicate and compare performance.
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements

 

Preferred:

  • Proven ability to design & develop strong/ creative talent acquisition plans
  • Proficient with ATS, Microsoft Office including excel
  • Knowledge of social media networking platforms
  • Results oriented and comfortable working in a high performance, metrics driven recruiting environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – confidence interacting and communicating with all experience levels of engineering talent
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and exceptional time management skills
  • Flexible creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • High level of attention to detail
