Job Summary
The Field Engineer position is a vital role within our organization. This position works closely with Field Supervision to ensure accuracy and assist in project completion and troubleshooting. They also play a critical role in project grading designs. This is an ever-expanding position with great opportunities ahead. This is a Full-Time/Seasonal position (winters off).
Key Responsibilities:

- Work directly with Superintendents, Estimators and Foreman on project design and troubleshooting
- Convert 2D drawing and site surveys into 3D models
- Prepare machine control files to be used by equipment for automated project creation
- Understand project scopes and verify each phase of them (subgrade, surveying, curb)
- Perform site analysis to create the most economical design for the customer
- Occasionally survey projects for curb and grade verification
- Mentor fellow employees on GPS and rover technology
Education Preferred:
- Civil Engineering or Civil Technician Degree with emphasis on Surveying or AutoCad
