This is a unique opportunity to work with very smart and creative people utilizing state-of-the-art machinery on interesting projects in a dynamic environment. We are currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our team. A positive, team-oriented, and proactive attitude is essential.

 What does a day in the life of a Mechanical Engineer look like for ULC Robotics?

A Mechanical Engineer with ULC Robotics will participate directly in the design process, build and design components, and work as a part of a creative team of top notch engineers to develop products and systems for our clients to inspect and repair infrastructure.

To be successful, you will have the following:

  • BSME degree and 3+ years relevant experience designing Mechanical components and systems
  • Must be proficient in using Solidworks for 3D design
  • Willing and wanting to get hands-on. We have a full machine shop and encourage our engineers to leave their desks and help build what they have designed
  • Is adept at being creative and able to research solutions to solve problems
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently or within a team to solve problems and meet deadlines
  • Proficient using the Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Other duties as assigned
