IPD Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer based in our Syracuse, NY office.  The successful candidate will have opportunities to work on various types of renovation and new construction projects in markets such as commercial, mixed use, health care, manufacturing, education & others. 

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Under the direction of a licensed engineer, design & detail foundations and superstructures using Revit.
• Coordinate with other engineering and architectural trades during design regarding.
• Participate in developing details, equipment schedules and specifications.

Qualified candidates must have a 2 or 4 year technical or related degree, a minimum of three years of design experience, demonstrate ability to perform the primary responsibilities listed above.  Advanced proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office is required.  EIT certification or PE a plus.
