Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited (BELCO) is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with utility experience

 

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Required:

  • An Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized University
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the position of responsibility in power generation or a large scale manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years at a leadership level.
  • Ability to collaborate with planning team; in order, to develop an electrical maintenance approach for equipment based on lifecycle philosophy, industry standards, and manufacturer's recommendations

Recommended:

  • Experience with Heavy Diesel Power Plant equipment and auxiliary plant will be a distinct advantage
  • Working knowledge of Gas turbines would be an asset to succeed in this role
