What You Will Do: As a Water Resources Project Manager in one of our Twin Cities offices, you will oversee multiple projects of varying size and complexity and ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets. You will use your project management skills to plan, direct, track, and coordinate all project activities. You may also formulate project approaches and lead the proposal process for Water Resource projects.

A Project Manager for Water Resources will independently manage complex water resources analysis and design projects for both public and private clients. The successful candidate will manage multi-disciplinary teams to meet project budgets, project scopes, and client expectations. The Project Manager for Water Resources will also support our private development, municipal, transportation, and planning projects in multiple offices as needed. The successful candidate will know how to cultivate internal client relationships to successfully fulfill this role.

You will participate in and lead business development activities to new and existing clients through the following activities: plans, leads and participates in client meetings and networking events; develops new client contacts and relationships in all areas of expertise and geographic regions; identify, suggest, and secure projects from new and existing clients; and work to secure alternative funding sources.

Your experience level will determine the amount of independent judgment granted, the complexity of tasks performed, and direct supervision received.

What You Will Bring: The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an accredited school, registration as a professional engineer in Minnesota (or the ability to obtain Minnesota registration within six months) and 8+ years water resources experience. A valid driver's license and good driving record are also required. Our preferred candidate would have experience in managing water resources projects, clients and staff in Minnesota, a history in delivering projects with positive customer service experiences, a positive attitude, as well as a willingness to learn. The ability and desire to develop an understanding of, or even anticipate the client’s needs, is a plus.
