Position Description:
Urban Engineers of New York, D.P.C. is actively seeking Construction Inspectors to work on projects throughout the Western, NY (NYSDOT Region 5) area. Open positions include: Chief Inspector, Senior Inspector and Inspector. Ideal candidates will be responsible for inspection of various field construction activities. The individual will have knowledge of the technical aspects of construction; ability to read specifications and engineering drawings; adherence to associated policies and procedures; and providing the necessary documentation of inspections performed including quantity measurements and computations, daily reports and all other duties associated with inspection.

Job Requirements:
Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, and must possess and maintain at least one of the following: NICET Level II, III, or IV Certification, E.I.T. or PE. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of related work experience with at least one year of experience in field inspection activities is desired; Site Manager experience a plus.
