Job Summary

Researches, maintains and records vendor pricing activity to confirm and update standard costs for all products within the Cemstone Companies and Twin City Concrete Materials business.

• Assists with standard costing of products, including the review of historical vendor purchases, provide comparison to current standards and calculate new standard costs based on analysis.
• Assists with physical inventories including counts and reconciliation.
• Assists with preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Performs reconciliations of general ledger accounts on monthly basis.
• Prepare financial and operational reporting for quarterly management meetings
• Provides documentation in support of sales/use tax audits.
• Various ad hoc reporting and research requests as needed.
• Support management staff as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Seeking a 2-year or 4-year business degree with emphasis in Accounting and/or Finance.
• One to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence including process documentation.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume. 
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing Software.
