Nature of Work
Draw and coordinate pipefitting and / or mechanical 3D models using Revit and add on software’s. Review engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications, code requirements and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create fabrication drawings that are professional and accurate using architectural, structural, and plumbing / mechanical contract prints consistent with job specifications, submittal data and engineers intent.
- Perform clash detection utilizing Navisworks and BIM 360 Glue
- Attend project coordination meetings, as required.
- Perform all aspects of the building modeling and coordination.
- Be familiar with the workflow in a Revit central model.
- Apply judgment, evaluating for best approach, and make decisions with respect to drawings and input interpretation.
- Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.

Education
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. One year vocational training from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
Experience
5+ years in the BIM industry, mechanical / plumbing trades strongly preferred.
2+ years Revit experience required.
