Job Summary: Hughes General Contractors is looking for a Foreman to lead and work within our Footing & Foundation Crew.

The successful candidate for this position must be analytical and detail-oriented with experience.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multi-task as well as a strong understanding of construction practices specializing in concrete in order to make strategic recommendations.  Must be able to interact well, motivate and manage others to meet company goals and deadlines.

Min Qualifications:

• Have a solid understanding of current ADA standards and regulations;
• Be able to read and understand project plan blueprints and elevations;
• Have a proven track record of managing a crew of 10 or more;
• Ability to work independently and perform at a high level of accuracy;
• Must be detail oriented, analytical, problem solver and creative thinker;
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Bi-lingual speaking in English and Spanish is a plus

Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience working with concrete;
• 3+ years’ experience working with architectural walls;
• 2+ years’ experience working with footings & foundations
