The Spray Foam Applicator is responsible for the timely and smooth coordination of installing spray foam insulation in buildings, homes, etc. to the required specifications.The perfect candidate for the position needs to be flexible and willing to install all products offered by Kinzler Construction Services from blown-in to batting and spray foam. We also provide our customers with an extensive line of other energy conservation, weatherization, new construction services. Other duties include:

  • Make necessary preparations for installation process at jobsite by unloading equipment and placing items in location of installation.
  • Understand the proper operating procedures of the spray equipment.  Learn spraying techniques from other spray foam team leaders.
  • Ensure that can foaming and caulking are completed as necessary around windows, doors, etc.  Use good judgement and caution to not overfoam any areas
  • Trim and bag “scrapped” foam materials as it accumulates.
  • Maintain a high standard of clean-up before leaving any jobsite.  Be sure that all necessary touch-up work and clean-up is completed before leaving the jobsite.

Installers will be crossed-trained in several departments to further their growth and provide them with more job opportunities. Departments that Installers may be crossed in may include:

Spray Foam
Bibs
Batting
Fireproofing
Spray-applied Air Barrier
Levelrock/Gypsum Concrete Underlayment
Retro/Weatherization

 

We require a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Required skills, experience and talents:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must obtain a Class A CDL license with 90 days of hire
  • Construction or painting experience preferred to include, but not limited to fiberglass batting, spray foam, Bibs, blown-in, trim carpentry, drywall hanging, airless paint sprayer, or framing experience.
  • Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills while striving to work safely at all times.
