Duffield Associates, LLC is an award-winning engineering and science consulting firm specializing in civil, environmental, and geotechnical engineering, construction review and testing services. POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting environmental projects within Duffield Associates’ Philadelphia Division. This is a professional position and the expectation is the successful candidate will manage projects. Project experience must include Phase I/II ESAs, Remedial Investigations, Risk Assessments, Fate and Transport Analysis, Cleanup Plans, Brownfields, Tank Assessments and Removals conducted under applicable PADEP and Federal regulations.  

 

Responsibilities and duties:

 

  • Coordinate project activities with clients, regulators, contractors, and technical staff for diverse environmental projects.
  • Provide technical input for complex projects.
  • Provide quality control and technical review of project activities and documents.
  • Participate in the implementation of corporate strategies.
  • Prepare and manage field staff, project budgets and schedules.
  • Maintain existing client relations.
  • Generate leads and new business opportunities through networking.

 

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in geology or engineering.
  • 6 years of relevant environmental consulting experience.
  • Professional license (P.E.)
  • Experience applying Federal and state environmental regulations.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
  • Business development experience.
