Frank Beverage Group is hiring for a Human Resources Assistant for our Middleton, WI office. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for assisting a variety of personnel related administrative duties. This position will also provide information and clerical support to the Human Resources Department and employees regarding human resources activities, recruiting, processes and procedures.

Schedule:

Monday- Friday, 8:30am- 4:00pm (Schedule can be negotiable)

This is a limited term position with an anticipated start date of mid-May and an end date of early September.

Compensation:

$12.00- $14.00/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all areas of the recruiting process including reviewing and processing resumes, sending rejection letters, scheduling interviews, and participating in interviews
  • Process all new hire set ups including system set up and benefit enrollments
  • Process all terminations including system terminations and benefit terminations
  • Follow up with new hires and current employees on any necessary missing paperwork or information
  • Conduct personnel, medical and driver file audits of all employees
  • Assist in annual motor vehicle review for drivers
  • Create new hire packets for new employees
  • Update and create necessary Human Resources documents including organizational charts, company phone lists, employee manual, and labor law posters
  • Coordinate with managers on scheduling training updates including forklift training's and any department specific training's
  • Administrative duties including scanning and filing
  • Additional project and research work as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

  • Working towards undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field at an accredited University is required
  • Strong interest in the Human Resources Field is preferred

Experience:

  • Customer service experience is required
  • Experience in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
  • Basic research experience is preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • A strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite products and web browser
  • Excellent inter-personal skills; friendly, personable, and approachable
  • Ability to work independently
  • A willingness to learn and take initiative to purpose new ideas and recommendations

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Ability to use arms, hands, reach and grasp
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
