Role Description: UFS helps community banks and our people thrive – together. Customers are our community, and the Product Specialist plays a key role in leveraging the intersection of community, technology and people by planning and deploying current and future technology solutions for the community. This position works under the leadership of the Director of Product and Product Development and the Vice President of Bank Technology Solutions, and in collaboration with other team members across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitors all aspects of a product lifecycle, including long- and short-term development
  • Stays abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position
  • Assists in implementing bank technology solutions, product strategy and pricing
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams through the product development process, including piloting with customers
  • Assists with launching new products following the product management framework
  • Publishes product and services roadmaps
  • Develops and maintains product collateral to support existing and new products
  • Supports customer escalations, product qualifications and other internal processes when necessary
  • Partners with vendors to support new and existing product initiatives

Education & Experience: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or communication
  • Or 2 - 3 years of equivalent experience in a product related role
