We are looking for reliable, highly motivated and ambitious student who meets our core values.  We are currently seeking a summer Estimating / Drafting Intern to join our team.  The Estimator / Drafter is responsible for data entry and preparing take-offs for the estimating team.    Additional duties include, but not limited to:

  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates in order to complete a job takeoff.
  • Participate in project management process and prepare documents for the project.
  • Data entry into PlanSwift software
  • Track quoted jobs throughout the bidding process.
  • Internship Duration: May - August 2019.  Exact dates to be determined upon hire.

 

Required skills, experience and talents:

  • Currently enrolled in a Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Drafting or related program
  • Knowledge of PlanSwift Software or similar software is required
  • Must have strong knowledge of building science and construction processes.
  • Must have strong math and analytical skills and be able to read and understand blueprints.
  • Hourly wage: $11/HR
