Job Description
Responsible for performing routine and non-routine heavy commercial aircraft maintenance and/or modifications in an MRO environment, including component removal and installation, routine open/close, component tagging, lube and service, aircraft marshaling, launch and recovery, aircraft jacking, rigging, fueling/defueling and fuel cell entry, circuit breaker lockout/tag-out and safe/proficient use of ground support equipment.
Responsibilities
- Entry level mechanic.
- Cannot work alone – requires supervision on ALL tasks.
- Basic understanding of aircraft systems.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Assist in open / close activity.
- Assist in basic component removal / installations.
- CIC / Lubrication with limited supervision.
- Gain a basic understanding of AMMs / IPC.
- Must be willing to work day shift, night shift, weekend and holidays as needed
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid A&P License or a minimum of (6) months of aircraft maintenance experience.
