Job Description

Responsible for performing routine and non-routine heavy commercial aircraft maintenance and/or modifications in an MRO environment, including component removal and installation, routine open/close, component tagging, lube and service, aircraft marshaling, launch and recovery, aircraft jacking, rigging, fueling/defueling and fuel cell entry, circuit breaker lockout/tag-out and safe/proficient use of ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Entry level mechanic.
  • Cannot work alone – requires supervision on ALL tasks.
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Assist in open / close activity.
  • Assist in basic component removal / installations.
  • CIC / Lubrication with limited supervision.
  • Gain a basic understanding of AMMs / IPC.
  • Must be willing to work day shift, night shift, weekend and holidays as needed

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid A&P License or a minimum of (6) months of aircraft maintenance experience.
