Ceres Environmental Services, Inc., a 40-plus-year-old international disaster recovery and infrastructure contractor and frequent Department of Defense contractor is bidding on the next round of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers emergency contracts also known as the Corps’ Advanced Contracting Initiative (ACI). The contracts are contingency or pre-event contracts meaning if a disaster is severe enough the holders of these multi-year contracts and their pre-approved management teams are activated.

This posting is an invitation for HSE Managers to consider personally partnering with Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. on this major RFP. There is no immediate need to change your position but rather only to make a future commitment in the event of a major disaster response.

To this end, Ceres is reaching out to you in hopes of securing your commitment to join one of our teams in the event of an activation.

We are specifically interested in securing your participation as an:

Environmental Health & Safety Manager

The ideal candidate must:

-have a minimum of five years of continuous safety management experience

-be well-versed in the EM 385-1-1

-have significant experience drafting Corporate Safety Plans and common safety submittals including site-specific Accident Prevention Plans, Activity Hazard Analyses, and accident investigation reporting

- be thoroughly comfortable with all aspects of corporate safety in a DOD context including but not limited: worker protection; equipment safety; competent person; fall protection; trucking; trimming of loads; traffic control/flagmen/work zones; white goods; e waste
