WHO WE NEED

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Assistant Landscape Designer in the Landscape Architectural Group at our Endwell, NY office.  The successful candidate will get first-hand experience and provide support on all phases of projects. Primary duties will be to prepare or assist in the preparation of design concepts and site plans, presentation and construction documents, details, schedules and reports, attend client meetings/presentations, communication with client representatives, participate in site visits/inspections/documentation during construction, and develop quantity take offs and construction cost estimates. 

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program. Experience may vary from 1 to 8 years. Candidates must also possess a solid understanding of the design process and have strong design, graphic and organizational skills and experience with varied applications such as CADD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of stormwater practices, plant and building materials is a plus. The candidate must have a willingness to learn, to work independently and as a team, and must be resourceful.
