JOB DESCRIPTION:
Are you resilient? Can you smile in the face of adversity and talk to anyone? Insides sales and support work with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
Our company needs an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position involves taking incoming calls, booking service for customers and processing incoming service proposals from our field technicians. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We experience an extremely high volume during the summer months, so it’s important to maximize your time.
- Customer Service Skills: The customer is always right. Inside sales reps will need to be able speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and helping communicate options for them.
- Communication Skills: Inside sales reps speak to customers about a products/services, and answer any questions they might have.
- Flexibility: Adjust your sales presentation based on success/fail averages.
- Persistence: Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if you lose a sale will be key for this job.
- Capture customer information, including addresses and phone numbers, for future follow-up
- Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication
- Working with sales team when closing sale.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Comfortable taking calls and talking to new people all day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Eager to expand company with new sales and clients.
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
- High school degree or equivalent
- Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
- Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Previous experience in inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
