The Commercial Sales Representative (SR) is primarily responsible for the identification and development of new commercial, industrial and institutional service customers. The SR is responsible for new service agreements, negotiated service work and project sales with new customers.
Duties include:
• Identifying, qualifying and closing with clients that have the ability and desire to work with a preferred provider on a negotiated basis.
• Consulting with management to include establishing rapport, identifying needs, delivering professional sales presentations, overcoming objections and effective closing.
• Generating proposals that satisfy the client’s needs and achieve Southcoast’s profit objectives.
• Offering a wide variety of HVACR solutions including mechanical system repairs, retrofits, upgrades and modifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer the applicant to have HVAC sales experience, but would train the right candidate with previous sales experience. Must possess superior interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and communication skills, written and verbal. Must be computer literate in word processing and spreadsheets. A valid driver's license is a must. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs to access mechanical room equipment and rooftop equipment for surveys.
