Job Summary
Administers accounting and reporting activities in accordance with Dealership policies, procedures and requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Administers accounting activities to ensure that financial processes and information are accurate, timely and contain adequate internal controls
-Actively supports accounts receivable, accounts payable and sales processing activities
-Reconciles select John Deere supplier accounts and statements in the general ledger
-Analyzes company operations to identify opportunities for additional accounting consistency and efficiency
-Supports the identification, calculation and reporting of key operational business metrics
-Administers multi state sales and use tax laws and reporting
-Maintain asset registries and schedules
-Oversee periodic supplier and internal inventory audits
-Ability to supervise select accounting functions and members of the Accounting Department

Position Qualifications
-5+ years accounting, reporting or business analysis experience
-2+ years of experience in accounting operations or auditing preferred
-1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
-Knowledge of financial principles required for financial planning & analysis
-Understands financial statements, cash flow and key financial ratios
-Understands the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reporting
-Proficient with Excel and other standard accounting systems
-Bachelors Degree in an Accounting/Finance/Business discipline or equivalent experience required
-CPA preferred
