The Mission
The Damuth recruiting team is searching for a high performing Service Area Operations Leader to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. The Service Area Operations Leader will be responsible for the leadership of area service operations, associates, and service fulfillment processes. Leadership includes establishment and achievement of team objectives and goals consistent with overall department strategy. Responsible also for satisfied clients and profit performance and personnel development and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent; five (5) years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years leadership experience in HVAC Service
  • Demonstrated understanding of Commercial HVAC Systems, Energy Management and Building Automation Systems and contract administration.
  • Basic accounting skills (double entry accounting, accrual, etc.)
  • Financial experience of service operations business (budgeting, planning, margins, estimating, burden labor calculations, etc.)
  • Experience in development and growth of a high-performance team.
  • Desired experience developing and mentoring mid-level leaders in advancing leadership skills
  • Required experience developing and implementing formal leadership training protocols.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft products, and service estimating.

  • Required - Valid Driver’s license and good driving record required
  • Willing to travel locally as required

A Day in the Life
You will be responsible for coordinating with Contracting Team Leader, PMs, and Superintendents to maintain great client experience when multiple teams are working at a client site. Also, you will ensure quality standards of all service operations processes and functions required for safe execution of work and client satisfaction. This includes analyzing performance of assigned teams by developing and tracking metrics relevant to current practices and standards. You will be responsible for internal communications flow relative to the fulfillment process. The Service Area Operations Leader will be responsible mentoring and training Service Team Leaders in leadership and management practices, helps to develop formal leadership training protocols. Other responsibilities may also be assigned.
