About the Company: 

ENE Systems designs, engineers and installs sophisticated Building Management Systems including temperature controls (HVAC/ATC) and security devices. Job Title: Sales Support Representative/Estimator

 

Job Summary:

Reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing. This position works directly with Account Executives, Sales Executives and Technical Sales Support Engineers in supporting the sales efforts for the HVAC/ATC Sales group. This individual will be responsible for many (technical) sales support activities including walking job sites, reviewing drawings and specifications, doing site ‘take-offs”, preparing estimates and working closely with all of the people mentioned above to prepare proposals (quotes) for target projects.

 
Regular Duties Include:

  • Conduct building plan reviews
  • Conduct “walk-through” site surveys
  • Review construction drawings and specifications for project requirements
  • Perform “take-offs” from construction drawings and from “walk-through” information
  • Estimate jobs using “Smartware estimating software”
  • Assist is bid package preparation and quotes when necessary

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Technical aptitude (some technical education preferred but not required)
  • Understanding and sensitive to customer needs and requirements
  • Ability to manage time to schedules and deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Interest in a career in a growing, well-established, local company
  • Willing to train the right candidate
