Commercial Construction Project Manager - Vancouver, WA

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain current and accurate quantity tracking data
- Cost Control reporting and forecasting
- Budget set-up
- Write and manage RFI’s and change orders
- Estimating, Procurement
- Prepare Submittals and maintain submittal log
- Plan and Coordinate work appropriately to facilitate the work permit process
- Review construction procedures and provide technical support of work
- Ensure construction work done in-house and by sub contractors complies with contract
- Be directly involved with construction procedures, represent JH Kelly at various meetings
- Keep management informed of project status and scheduling
Skills / Qualifications
- Seasoned experience in Commercial Construction Project Management with budget accountabilities.
- Piping, Mechanical estimating experience required
- Proficient in reading Piping Isometrics
- Familiarity with Mechanical operations and or other applicable mechanical construction experience
- Understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles
- Self starter, organized, productive and motivating individual
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Access, Blue Beam and/or comparable applications
- Familiarity with Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling, using MS Project or comparable applications
- A solid working knowledge of Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Contracts, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and Safety
Education/Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Construction Management field
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Field Engineering or Field Construction Management
