The Human Resources Assistant provides a variety HR support on a wide range of Human Resources tasks to employees, managers and general public as it relates to Tech-Etch.  Assist with all administrative recruiting efforts. Assist Recruiter with scheduling pre- employment tests, on-boarding efforts, and maintain Open Req. Report. Create and process new hire paperwork and create files; ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. 

 

  • Act as first point of contact for employees requesting information.  Receive documents, intake information to pass along to team, provide HR documents and follow up with employees.  Answer employee queries about HR related issues.
  • Prepare New Hire Files, ensure accuracy of record keeping requirements.
  • Schedule pre-employment screenings and confirm receipt of results prior to offers of employment.
  • Confirm offers and start date with new hires, explain start date hours and policies.
  • Prepare new hire kits and mailings.
  • Enter data into a verity of HR systems
  • Process I-9 documentation and ITAR per regulations and file appropriately.
  • Monitor and manage job opening reports.
  • Create new and edit job templates on Applicant Tracking System.
  • Generate Recruiting reports.
  • Update/manage positions of applicants on tracking system.
  • Manage internal job postings.
  • Track our Veteran’s applicant statistics.
  • Outreach activities.
  • Create various correspondence, reports, etc.
  • File as required.

Must have:

  • Experience with HR software, HRIS, ATS and/or or payroll databases
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong phone, email, Written and in-person communication skills
  • Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Provide excellent customer service; respectful and timely completion of requests and associated tasks.
