Job Role

Perform required operations to test, troubleshoot, and repair assembled parts on a specified product line.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing operations according to written procedures, drawings, and established workmanship standards
  • Demonstrate a consistent working knowledge of the Cardiac Science quality, documentation, environmental, and material management systems including, but not limited to:
    • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Non conforming material processing (NMR)
    • Work order procedures
    • General work flow
  • Maintain or exceed acceptable productivity levels while maintaining a consistent and acceptable level of quality
  • Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with GMP's.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain equipment and tools in accordance with written and verbal instructions
  • Assist in the general cleaning of the work environment according to established procedures and guidelines. Ensure the work station and surrounding area’s are clean and orderly at the end of each day
  • Maintain attendance within acceptable limits per company policy and submit accurate records of time worked
  • Comply with company policies and procedures regarding Employee health, safety, and conduct

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years relevant experience in electronics assembly or electronics testing techniques or similar processing of components
  • Associates Degree (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience)
  • Demonstrated the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and follow written instructions
  • Experienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot to component level and familiar with test equipment
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
  • Experience in the use of various computer applications, such as Excel or Labview

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the medical device field
  • Soldering and wire bonding experience
