Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will implement and maintain the overall quality program and prepare and deliver presentations to WMATA executive management and coordinate between in-house staff, subconsultants and associated WMATA staff.

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

• General management of transit program staff and program scope
• Budget and schedule control
• Oversee the timely processing of RFI’s, PCO’s transmittals and change orders
• Work with the client to resolve business and policy issues
• Interface with public agencies, corporations, government officials, consultants and contractors and with supporting departments to provide services in a timely and efficient manner

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business or a related field
• A minimum of 20 years of experience managing large projects
• Registered PE is preferred
• Must have the ability to manage complex budgets and schedules
• Knowledge of project management procedures (PMI), financial management, CPM scheduling, cost control and forecasting, communications and document control is a plus
• Ability to successfully complete WMATA Railway Worker Protection Certification Class and pass government background check
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
