Position Summary
Broadmoor, LLC, a locally owned New Orleans-based Design Build Company is seeking a well-qualified Assistant Marketing Coordinator familiar with the construction industry to assist its Marketing and Pre-Construction teams. The Assistant Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the overall execution of all Broadmoor marketing deliverables and ensuring it is aligned with the Company’s core purpose and values. This includes all Broadmoor general marketing items such as collateral materials, videography, social media, webpage management, and project specific marketing items such as proposals and presentations. The Assistant Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Coordinator and the Vice President of Pre-Construction and may have supporting personnel as need requires.

Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of proposals and external presentations
- Assists in developing highly-effective, targeted proposals and presentations as it relates to Client Prequalification, Requests for Proposal, etc.
- Assists in managing proposal production, quality control reviews and the delivery process.
- Create, edit, and manage proposal templates on an ongoing basis to keep Broadmoor’s submissions competitive.
- Assists the project team with preparation of interview materials and interview logistics such as technology, leave-behind print materials, etc
- Serves as an active member with local SMPS chapter, industry-related organizations, or non-profit organizations to help promote the Broadmoor brand.
- Assists in executing the Company’s social media plan specific to Broadmoor’s purpose that presents timely and engaging content across multiple social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and You Tube to generate a strong digital “life” for the company.
- Assists in the development of marketing material and identifies new methodologies and technologies to keep the material “current”. These materials include, but are not limited to:
- Brochures
- Conference/Event Booths & Promotional Items
- Professional Resumes
- Project Portfolio Sheets
- Assists in preparing press releases for project and company announcements.
- Assists in designing graphic content used internally and externally.
- Assists in managing the website and redesigns as needed.
- Assists in the management of specific marketing campaigns, identifying new strategies for targeted outreach.
- Assists in managing specialized consultants to support the marketing program (i.e. photographers, public relations firms, etc.)
- Responsible for the delivery of creative, professional and captivating videography from multiple projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in the field of Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related curriculum.
- 1+ years of professional industry experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Graphic Design preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including, but not limited to PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and other desktop publishing software.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and software technologies including but not limited to Prezi and Hootsuit.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and management strategies.
- Proficiency with computerized video production equipment and tape editing software such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and content development skills with a basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for an extended period of time and frequently stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel: and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move office equipment up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing computer monitors. Most work is performed in an office environment during normal business hours.
