Summary/Objective

The Etcher runs liquid chemical rotary/conveyor etching equipment to achieve customer specifications.  Etchers use corrosive chemistry to create customer products from raw materials.  Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure process capability.

Essential Functions

  • Perform Etching processes per general instructions to achieve customer specifications
  • Perform measuring tasks to ensure product conformance using specialized measuring equipment
  • Document measurements and trends
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions
  • Monitor chemistry condition
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area

Must have:

  • Ability to read, follow instuctions and write with legible penmanship.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to focus and mutli-task.
  • Strong time management skills with attention to details.
  • Thoroughness.
  • Mechanically Inclined
  • Dependable, motivated and willing to learn with good knowledge retention
