As an intern you be mentored by a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Estimating staff of Safety Professional. You will learn and have exposure to multiple facets of the construction process including but not limited to the following:

  • Write RFI’s
  • Assist with solving field issues
  • Procure material due to shorts or RFI responses
  • Assist in preparing Submittals and keep Submittal Log current
  • Assist with Change Order Estimating as needed
  • Promote safety and our safety culture
  • Observe work in progress to ensure its being performed per the applicable IFC drawings and specifications
  • Assist Project/Field Engineer in daily job tasks as needed
  • Perform drawing Take-offs as needed
  • Maintain proactive relationships within the crafts including apprentices, journeymen, supervision and staff
  • Maintain proactive relationships with client representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and accounting

Salary Level: $18 per hour

Approximate Hours Per Week: Full-time during summer break (up to 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday)
