Stronghold Engineering, an award winning Electrical Contractor is seeking a strong Civil Construction Laborer and Laborer Foreman to help support our growth in the El Paso area on our Railroad projects.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy construction work
  • Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
  • Ability to lift heavy objects 50-60 lbs. on a regular basis, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Insure shop and yards areas are keep neat and organized.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • 2 years’ experience in related field.
  • Knowledge of equipment and tools being used in the construction field
