We Need Someone Like You
As a Senior Project Manager you will wake up every morning with the ability to specialize in executing small to mid-sized projects. You will be involved in challenging and fast-paced projects, ranging from $500-$5,000,000 in value, by overseeing the procurement, and profitability of concurrent projects. Your oversight will make partners want to work with you again and which will strengthen relationships and foster new ones.
Your Typical Day Might Look Like This
- You will partner with field leadership to ensure projects are installed on schedule while maintaining the required design criteria
- You will understand the total life cycle of a building and is able to guide customers to the best solution that aligns with their mission.
- You will work with customer base to ensure conceptual designs and budgets meet the customers’ needs and expectations.
- You will establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards within scope of company policies and standard operating procedures.
- You will Identify opportunities for future projects and networks internally and externally to pursue such opportunities, in collaboration with the Vice President of Operations – Service and Special Projects, and others.
- You will build relationships with the project team (both in house and with outside partners), providing leadership and guidance.
- You will forecast project profitability on a monthly basis, identifies trends, and makes adjustments to the project execution plan as necessary.

You Will Bring This to the Table
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical construction industry; Equivalent combination of mechanical field and leadership experience will be considered.
- A strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, as well as basic knowledge of plumbing systems and industrial processes; Also have a thorough knowledge of mechanical construction industry practices, processes, and standards – including systems design, installation, and servicing
- Ability to maximize performance of project team through innovative and effective management techniques
- Ability to successfully drive project through completion
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, such as diplomacy, persuasion, etc. are essential to develop and foster effective professional relationships.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-management skills
- Basic level of financial acumen necessary to manage project budget / performance.
- Knowledge of the following computer programs: MS Word, Excel. Experience with project management software a plus.
