An exciting opportunity exists for a Process Auditor to join our Quality Department at the Bradken Tacoma Foundry.  The Process Auditor reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible and accountable for auditing processes fully and in a timely manner to ensure that specifications, procedures, and manufacturing instructions are aligned and processes are compliant to them.

In addition, responsibilities will include:   

  • Coordinate with department supervisors to perform department process and/or product audits
  • Audit the manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications
  • Audit to ensure compliance to internal Bradken & site based documented procedures and processes
  • Documentation of audit completion and findings and then communicating findings and outcomes to respective department managers as well as senior management
  • Establish specification and procedural interpretation based on soliciting input from resident experts as needed where interpretation is subjective
  • Follow up on audit finding actions & status to ensure identified process gaps are closed and documented in a timely fashion
  • Work with the QA Manager to establish monthly and annual audit goals and track audit processes completed against the plan
  • Provide a supporting role for employee compliance training as needed or requested by the People and Culture or Quality Assurance departments or by Bradken or HCM resources
  • Help instill audit-based culture by utilizing a supportive teaching approach

A qualified candidate will have the following qualifications:  

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience required
  • Ability to document non-conformance findings and provide corrective actions
  • Ability to communicate with department supervisors and employees on specification compliance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prefer Engineering or Technical College degree in manufacturing or other applicable area of study
  • Experience using a computer-based manufacturing system
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
