We are seeking an experienced Mobile Developer to work in our Richmond, Virginia office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Build best-in-class geospatial applications on tablets and mobile phones
  • Design, develop, and deploy iOS and/or Android-based solutions
  • Estimate level of effort to develop code to meet acceptance criteria
  • Deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
  • Work with other mobile team members to utilize and establish best practices for mobile development
  • Share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
  • Provide support of software solutions as needed

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS a successful candidate should have include but are not limited to the following:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience developing software applications, 2+ years building native mobile applications
  • Creative, detail-oriented, problem solver, self-motivated learner
  • Experience developing and designing mobile applications for multiple devices
  • Experience designing and developing mobile applications using native and web technologies
  • Strong experience with Java/Kotlin (Android) and/or Objective C/Swift (iOS)
  • Passionate about creating user experiences and software
  • Willing to ask questions and share opinions
  • Familiar with agile methodology
