Microbiologics is seeking an experienced Marketing Content Manager. The selected individual will direct Microbiologics’ brand identity within key markets to maximize awareness and ensure customer perception and engagement are in line with Microbiologics' overall marketing strategy.

Microbiologics was founded in 1971 and is headquartered in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Originally named Environmental Protection Laboratories, we initially focused on providing laboratory testing services for detecting microbial contamination of water sources, the environment, and food products. In 1976, we began manufacturing and selling laboratory supplies including lyophilized (freeze-dried) microorganisms. Today, we provide QC microorganisms to every region of the world through an extensive distribution network.

Summary:

The Content Manager will be responsible for strategic global brand management and overseeing the development, production, and implementation of marketing communications for Microbiologics directed toward the company’s customers, business partners, industry segments, and the general public.

Job Details

  • Oversee the development of communications collateral with a clearly expressed value proposition, customer segmentation, and offering differentiation.
  • Guide Microbiologics defined “bran standards” in regard to look and feel including design specification, color management and messaging tone and personality.
  • Write, edit and produce print and digital content to be published and distributed to both internal and external shareholders while adhering to company brand standards.
  • Direct creative design and development of Microbiologics advertising and public relations initiatives.
  • Oversee the Marketing Communications (MarComm) pipeline and calendar for the Marketing Department and Microbiologics in conjunction with Marketing Managers, ensuring appropriate prioritization and timely release of key campaigns and communications materials.
  • Other Duties as Assigned as this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and expectations

Ideal Candidate will have:

  •  4-year degree in marketing, communication, business, or related degree required.
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional marketing experience.
  • Familiar with the marketing discipline and the application of marketing communication techniques: direct marketing, inbound marketing, blog, social networking, advertising design and creation, print management, branding and color/file management.
  • Experience in managing communication vendors including, designers, software application providers, printers and promotional materials.
