WHO WE NEED
We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Project Manager in the Electrical Group at our Schenectady, NY office. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of electrical design experience or an Associate’s Degree with 20 years of electrical design experience. A PE license is required. Experience with power/lighting/data/fire alarm/communication and special systems is highly preferred.
Primary duties will include being responsible for client satisfaction and strengthening client relationships; project quality via full compliance with Quality Management System requirements; project financial performance; schedule adherence; providing day-to-day project development via hands-on design, report writing, presentations while supervising and coordinating the work of other engineers or technicians who assist with specific assignments; participating in establishing the staffing and scheduling requirements for project completion; coordinating and scheduling outside subconsultants/subcontractors; scheduling and conducting necessary client and internal meetings and preparing minutes of the meeting to distribute promptly; and assisting the Group Director in the preparation of proposals and agreements.
