POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Associate will be responsible for execution of marketing department programs and objectives, including customer service, online merchandise sales, social media, and events. He/she is a key customer advocate within the organization, helping to resolve issues and to identify/correct the underlying causes.

 KEY OBJECTIVES

• Provide excellent customer service and help resolve customer issues
• Share feedback with relevant parties throughout the organization to keep issues from reoccurring

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Field and respond to incoming customer service inquiries via phone, email, text, etc.
• Read and respond to online reviews, and log when employees are mentioned by name
• Assist with execution of social media strategy
• Manage online merchandise store and process orders for shipment
• Create and deploy in-store signage in support of specials, product launches, etc.
• Assist with planning and execution of events (4/20, MJBizCon, etc.)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Exceptional customer service mindset
• Great attitude
• Familiarity with Tryke products
• Well organized
• Reliable transportation
• Proficiency in MS office products and POS (cashier) systems

DESIRED SKILLS, QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, GIMP, Inkscape
• Excellent leadership, planning, communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
