The project manager's roles and responsibilities are completing projects on budget and on schedule, manage the project budget, meeting the contract requirements, building relationships with clients, keeping track of extra work and compensation, understanding the project cash flow, managing the field to meet goals, completing pre-construction documentation accurately and timely, communicating with foremen and subcontractors to ensure work happens in the proper sequence and effectively working with Accounting for accurate reporting and processing of jobs. Estimating projects may be added to the role as the winter months set in.
