SUMMARY

BioUrja New Town Terminal operates a frac sand, crude oil, and ngl terminal in the heart of the Bakken formation, one of the top producing shale oil sites in the United States. We provide commodity trans-loading and storage services at our 200-acre state-of-the-art facility, with unit train capability served by the Canadian Pacific railroad and 270,000 barrels of storage capacity.

Key Responsibilities
•Responsible for safe, timely and efficient maintenance operations.

•Manage, coach and develop staff, including all direct report maintenance employees, to ensure a high level of productivity and accuracy.

•Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all and/or some electrical, measurement, rail, terminals, truck LACTs and pipelines.

•Continue to improve operational maintenance policies and procedures.

•Proficient in maintenance software.•Evaluate the effectiveness of and recommend alternatives for work methods with committee approval, procedures, systems, controls, and staffing to improve operational productivity.

•Train your direct reports to anticipate and solve problems and plan for upcoming events.

•Ensure a culture of Safety throughout the organization by following all safety policies, procedures, key performance indicators (KPI) and job safety analysis.

•Other duties which are deemed critical and necessary for terminal operations as assigned.

Education and Other Requirements
•Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
Background in terminal operations and procedures required.

•1-3 years of experience supervising others preferably in terminal environment.

•Previous work related skills, knowledge, or experience. Including office procedures and inventory management.

•Strong analytical skills with ability to diagnose and execute maintenance problems with an ability to repair the problem not just fix the problem.

•Basic computer skills including Word processing, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets.

•Communication skills valuable as a representation of the spirit of excellence.•Knowledge of confidential information policies, procedures and regulations that govern employee and employer confidentiality.

•Must work independently and as a member of team.•Essential identification skills, identifying and recognizing changes in circumstances, pro-actively develops alternative options.

•Able to read, speak and write English.

•Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions.

•Sitting – at desk or computer station, standing, walking, speaking, hearing – frequent•Bending/Stooping, twisting, lifting – occasional

•Gripping, reaching, writing, data entry, handling (paper, files, etc) – frequent

•Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week unless otherwise directed by supervisor.
