Job Summary:

Caddell Construction is looking for tradesmen with experience in the electrical industry for our international projects. Candidates must be capable of working all aspects of the electrical trade focusing on build-outs of commercial space.

Description of Tasks:

  1. Read plans, specifications, shop drawings, and implement the design in the field.
  2. Extensive conduit installation, from PVC to rigid, ¾" to 6"
  3. Hardware installation for device and conduit support
  4. Wiring pulling, line voltage, communication and security
  5. Termination of devices and equipment
  6. Installation of building automation system and components

Position Requirements:

Education/Experience: Minimum high school diploma/GED and two years of experience in the electrical field

Certifications, Licenses, etc.: Journeyman Electrical Certificate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation. Must have a good understanding of the National Electric Codes. High standard of integrity and professionalism. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations of workplace safety.

Working Conditions:

Physical Demands: Lifting required (50 lbs), walking, standing, sitting, , and reading. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Must be able to climb ladders, work at height and bend at the waist. Working Hours: 6 days per week 10 hours per day

Environmental Conditions: Job is only on-site and subject to hot cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.
