THE POSITION:

We’re looking for an Install Electrician with 2 to 5 years of recent residential electrical experience. Under the direct supervision of the Service Manager, this position participates in the construction, installation, and repair of electrical systems of varying design and complexity on residential electrical service projects. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building value in the work that is being requested by the customer.

Must have a high school diploma or GED, be customer service oriented, have your own tools, and a clean background and MVR record.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble, install, test, maintain and repair residential and light commercial electrical equipment and services using hand and power tools
  • Determines general condition of all electrical equipment, is able to troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and determine the extent of necessary repairs
  • Ensure compliance with code
  • Works with and understands blueprints, electrical schematics and job specifications as it applies to your craft
  • Has the ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects
  • Assess customer needs and present options using the Straight Forward Pricing Guide
  • Collect payment in full before work begins
  • Provide superior customer service, while building value and driving brand image
  • Ability to complete tasks in an efficient manner with attention to detail
  • Follows written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 to 5 years recent experience as a residential install electrician
  • Electric schooling preferred

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Must have own tools and reliable transportation
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Customer service oriented

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs
  • Must be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
  • Must be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to reach overhead
