We are looking for a payroll controller.

Reporting to the administrative and financial department, you will be in charge of keeping the payroll of the labourers of a large-scale project.

MISSIONS :

Accounting missions:

- Manage activities related to payroll processing for all project employees,

- Calculate, update and monitor the various banks (vacation, illness, accumulated time) and ensure their integrity in the SAGE payroll system,

- Manage employee stoppages and terminations while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and provincial legislation,

- Performing all transactions related to the closing of the employee's compensation files (Records of Employment, vacation payments and verification of final payments),

- Participate in the monthly and annual closing of the accounting cycle concerning payroll,

- Manage registrations, changes and terminations of insurance coverage,

- Act as a contact person for all matters related to payroll, group insurance, RRSPs and benefits,

- Production of T4s and RL-1s for each employee who received employee income in the year,

- Production of reports required by law on training in Quebec,

- Follow-up of work accident files

TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

With a Bachelor's degree (BAC) in Administration and Payroll, you have a perfect command of payroll principles.

You have at least 5 years of experience.

OR

With a DEC in Administration and Payroll, you have a perfect command of payroll principles and at least 7 years of experience.

- Have worked on site and in the construction industry

- Sense of organization,

- Management of the priorities in the respect of the schedules which are imposed to you,

- You like to work in a team and communicate,

- You like the contact with the operational and are dynamic.

- Good command of the Office Suite

- Fluent French and professional English

- Versatility

- Canadian Payroll Association Certification

Rigor and organization will be your assets and will allow you to manage priorities in accordance with the schedules that will be imposed on you. So, would you be ready to demonstrate this know-how in the Canadian subsidiary JANIN ATLAS of an international group such as VINCI?

Salary range: between $60,000 and $70,000 CAD. Negotiation possible depending on experience.
