ETIC  in Pleasant Hill is seeking a self motivated, enthusiastic individual for a Project Engineer position to help schedule and manage various construction projects. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Initiate and maintain project planning and scheduling.
  • Coordinate and manage construction personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Create, maintain, and organize field paperwork for multiple projects.
  • Maintain communication with multiple client and regulatory personnel.
  • Coordinate and implement the installation, restoration, maintenance, and removal of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for multiple projects.
  • Read and interpret storm water and biological compliance documents/maps and develop project-specific work scopes.
  • Prepare proposals including project summaries, work scopes, and budget for submittal to ETIC clients.
  • Monitor budgets for multiple projects and prepare change orders as needed.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Create and maintain records of purchase orders, field work orders, and client communications.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Construction Management or Geology preferred
  • 2-5 years professional experience required
  • Experience in environmental consulting preferred
  • Effective oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to multitask, maintain focus, and make quick, accurate decisions
  • Ability to work and contribute to a team environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel; MS Project preferred
  • QSP/QSD preferred
  • EIT or PE preferred
  • Knowledge of storm water and biological compliance preferred
  • Must meet company defined, pre-employment and annual alcohol/drug screen and physical
  • Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record

 This position is located in Pleasant Hill, Ca. There are no relocation benefits included.
