Job Summary

Perform all aspects of crushing, screening, washing, stockpiling and loading aggregate; including operating, maintaining and repairing aggregate production equipment located in Isle, Aitkin and St. Cloud, MN.

  • Operate various types of heavy equipment used in mining and processing of aggregate.
  • Drive off-road vehicles and loaders.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of all production and off-road equipment. 
  • Grease loader and conveyors.
  • Maintain safety in aggregate site and equipment operation.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area. 
  • Clean up around Wash Plants.
  • Adhere to all MSHA and Company safety rules.
  • Attend educational seminars and achieve industry standards. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two year of Mining experience and must complete 12 hours of experienced miner training.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation experience, i.e. Front-end Loaders, Dozers, Compactors, Wash Plants, Screen Plants.
  • Some mechanical ability for general maintenance around plant and equipment.
  • Attend an annual 8-hour MSHA refresher course.
  • Complete 24 hours of new miner training.
  • May require travel to plants outside of northern MN.
