Valdez International is looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer to work on a SharePoint project who can be a part of our team. We are looking for someone to join a highly visible Enterprise Shared Services project in support of a federal client. The project involves building and maintaining a SharePoint Portal to support law enforcement in the field. This project will require strong technical acumen and equally strong interpersonal skills. This is new development with a smaller team. It includes 3 people dedicated to the project including a project manager. The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable going into a new environment, jumping right in and figuring it all out, take the quality of your work seriously, excellent people skills, and wants to be a part of something meaningful.

Job Description

As the Senior SharePoint Application Developer, you will work closely with the Business Analyst and Project Manager to create SharePoint solutions and advise clients how to make use of this technology to achieve various business goals. The SharePoint Developer will also be challenged by coding new and cutting-edge custom applications that integrate with SharePoint to take the user-experience to the next level. Experience developing custom applications using NodeJS and NPM/Yarn for SharePoint is plus. Also, development experience with SPFX Web Parts and extensions. You will need expertise in best practices for maintaining a reliable SharePoint 2016 Farm.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience with SharePoint 2013\2016
  • Experience writing professional documentation in a business environment
  • Familiarity with the design of information environments, independent of platform
  • Experience with Visio or similar diagramming tool
  • Familiarity with solution prototyping and data analysis migration tools.
  • Expert level skill with SharePoint 2013\2016

  • Experience with ReactJS or Angular

  • SharePoint MCSD certification desirable
