Job Summary

Repair and maintain equipment and building operations including ready-mix plant and other miscellaneous equipment

• Operate front-end loader, forklift, skid loader, manlift & other equipment used in maintenance procedures.
• Weld and cut on equipment when necessary. 
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on ready-mix plant, conveyor, mixer, loader and recycler such as oiling, greasing, and changing filters.
• Perform emergency maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary such as welding, replacing parts, and changing bags on dust collector.
• Perform general cleanup of plant and yard such as shoveling and sweeping.
• Perform all tasks in a safe manner.
• Perform metal fabrication for plant operations.
• Complete all paperwork required by employer. Including reports or equipment maintenance schedules, work orders and employee time sheets.  

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three to five years related experience; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance of equipment, such as air compressors, mixers, vibrators, conveyors, motors, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Weld and cut with a torch.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Valid Department of Transportation Certified Class A Commercial Drivers License or acquire one within 45 working days from receipt of this job description.
• Welding Certificate equal to or above AWS D1.1 Minnesota Welding Standards.
