Steele Solutions, an industry-leading mezzanine manufacturer in Franklin, WI is looking to add an Estimator to their growing Sales Team. As an Estimator with Steele Solutions, you will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and communicating cost estimates to customers looking for custom solutions. Working closely through the Sales Team, you'll assist a nationwide distribution network and individual customers to create a customized solution using standard components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Estimator
- Review, evaluate and create cost estimates
- Communicate with key internal and external customers regarding new and current projects within the project workflow cycle, to satisfy ongoing customer requests and support the sales-driven culture.
- Prepare customized SSi proposals for customized solutions using standard components for various applications from 100 to 100,000 square feet.
- Ensure high quality and timely completion of all estimates
- Recommend product modifications or additions based upon research, technical service work, or sales feedback
- Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Two plus years’ experience in sales/customer service/estimating.
- B2B manufacturing marketing experience within a sales-driven culture, a distributor network, and extended knowledge of the Material Handling industry is desired.
- Ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates preferred
- Great ability to build rapport and relationships over the phone.
- Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to collaborate with others and work well in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be decisive, self-driven, work within deadlines, and establish credibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
