POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:

Serve as a subject matter expert for the Employee Service Center team.   Provide knowledge, support and high-touch services to candidates, employees, Human Resource Partners and managers related to policies, processes, systems and procedures encountered throughout the employee life cycle.  Perform a variety of essential activities, maintaining a high level of data accuracy and data integrity. Build collaborative partnerships with Human Resource Partners and COEs in order to drive cases to resolution in a timely manner and consistent with Charter’s values and culture.  Assist with talent acquisition, learning and communications support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related degree.
  • Ability to analyze and maintain highly confidential information.
  • Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) experience.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation while analyzing data and overall quality of work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport quickly, highly approachable.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Proficient with the basic features of Microsoft Office software products (Word and Excel)
  • Willingness to travel.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Social media and communications experience.
  • Call center or customer facing position experience.
  • Utilizing an ATS for scheduling and candidate management.
  • Administrating and coordinating large tasks across multiple locations.
  • Process improvement and Continuous Improvement experience.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support the governance of policies and procedures to ensure transactions are in adherence to Charter’s established guidelines and business processes.
  • Respond to employee and business human resources questions and inquiries through multiple channels (phone, email, etc.) about human resources benefits, programs and policies.
  • Document calls by creating detailed notes in the case management system.
  • Maintain information systems, prepare appropriate documentation, and process necessary paperwork.
  • Support employee case management for leaves of absence, pay continuation, and other human resource processes.  Explain the appropriate employee forms and provides guidance on completion.
  • Support talent acquisition administration and support (interview scheduling, phone screens, post-offer onboarding, etc.).
  • Partner with Human Resource Partners in the business to facilitate resolution of escalated questions or cases.
  • Assist in day-to-day end-user support as needed, including data entry, people process, trouble-shooting, auditing and resolution of requests and issues in support of different technologies that interact with the employee service center.
  • Support the Talent and Development function for training questions, communications, administration and coordinator of Charter Manufacturing offered training such as Front-Line leadership.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to coordinate, phone screen, in-person interviews including travel when needed, communicating with interview teams, candidates and others through the candidate life cycle to ensure the Charter culture is represented.
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System, Workday Recruit, through updating candidates’ status. Managing job postings.
  • Own all pre-employment activities while leveraging systems, such as drug screens, background checks, offer letters, orientation scheduling, and other onboarding related duties.
  • Support other COE’s as needed.
  • Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.
