Balfour Beatty Equipment Company is seeking a Warehouse Assistant.

Summary

Maintains the companies warehouse facilities, tools, and equipment; as well as supports delivery and disbursement of tools and equipment to jobsites. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Warehouse Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Construction Equipment/Tool Knowledge
  • Use of computer and programs as the position requires, email, inventory control
  • Inventory and track all tools and equipment
  • Keeps all equipment in good working order
  • Service and repair equipment as necessary (self or by others)
  • Organize, coordinate and prepare for delivery all requested materials, tools and equipment
  • Dispatch repair technicians as necessary to repair and or service equipment
  • Keep accurate and timely records of all repairs and maintenance
  • Review company vehicles for body and paint damage
  • Facilitate scheduling of company vehicles for servicing.
  • Maintain a high level of orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse facility
  • Perform or coordinate general repair and maintenance of facility
  • Follow all safety requirements for HSWC
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
  • Construction experience preferred, but not required
  • Requires a valid Washington state driver’s license
  • Individual will be required to pass a USDOT physical

 Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Warehouse and or Construction experience.
  • Rental Software knowledge preferred.
  • 10-hour OSHA trained preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid Training preferred.
  • Forklift certified Preferred.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
  • Ability to clearly speak and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to write with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar.
  • Must be able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of truck, tools and equipment, and methods and procedures.
  • Understands safety rules and tool / equipment instructions.
